Mission ACT1V8 is all about getting active! About achieving our mission together!
To reinvigorate the young church doesn't just mean those under 25 years - it's about all of us, young and old.
To get involved, contact your local parish or Catholic Youth Ministry.
Here are just a few ideas of how you might get involved:
- Is your talent in catering? Almost every event that brings people together also involves food. Be it a retreat run by Catholic Youth Ministry or a social evening fundraiser event run by a parish - your help would be very much appreciated.
- Do you have some great ideas about fundraising? Could you help the parish team in their fundraising efforts? Or just participate in any fundraising activities to give your support.
- Perhaps you have equipment or certain items that you can see helping at a youth event or fundraising event.
- Perhaps you have a licence or certificate that would help make some youth events possible eg: bus licence, bronze medallion, first aid certificate, etc
- Whatever your talents or skills, there is a good possibility you could help ACT1V8 our state!
- Pray - everyone can help with this one. Please pray for the work of Catholic Youth Ministry, the Parish Mission ACT1V8 teams, the mission of our Archdiocese and most importantly our young people and their faith journeys.
Please note: being involved in activities with young people will require you to become an approved volunteer in accordance with the Archdiocese of Hobart's child protection policy.
